The planning board functions in an advisory role, except when a local law is passed granting them authority to approve site plans, sub division plans, special permits or other developmental approvals. The Village of Bloomfield Planning Board has been granted this authority. This is a 5 member board plus alternate, all appointed by the Mayor.

Public Hearing
A NOTICE FOR PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held at 6:30 P.M. Thursday April 13, 2023 at the Town Hall located at 99 Main Street, Bloomfield, New York. This hearing will be conducted by the Planning Board, for the Village of Bloomfield.
Cheap Charlies Real Estate, LLC located at 8 Elm St. wishes to obtain a SUP for uses not conducted entirely within enclosed buildings section 135-98 of Village code.
Anyone interested in this hearing is welcome to attend and express opinions at that time.
